Alexandra Lourenço Dias

Originally from Portugal, I completed my PhD in 2013 at Oporto University (Portugal). My research focuses on Portuguese graphic novels, visual cultures, post-colonialism and transnationalism in Portuguese speaking Africa. I am currently a lecturer in Lusophone Studies at the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics - University College Dublin, Ireland. I am leading a project on design and development of online instructional materials for scenario-based learning, a toolkit for the Portuguese language - A1 level.
